An Autumn Day Trip to Anyang Art Park

Korea during the autumn months is pure magic. The air is crisp, the trees are bright yellows, oranges, and reds, and you can catch whiffs of sweet potatoes and apples while walking near markets. It's my favorite time of year, and I want to share one of my favorite places to explore just outside of Seoul when the leaves are at their brightest.

This is Anyang Art Park, located only an hour or so outside of Seoul depending on your starting point and completely free to wander. The forest is filled with large art installations including tree houses, mirror mazes, and a stunning tower that gives you an absolutely breathtaking view (though be warned - it is not for those with a fear of heights! It was definitely swaying a bit in the wind when I got to the top..)

It was much colder than we expected on the day we visited and the sun was not on our side (we arrived later than planned...) so we didn't get to explore even half of what this gorgeous park has to offer! My favorite was by far the treehouse made of colorful plastic :)

As I mentioned, the tower is not for the faint of heart! The view was stunning but the climb was a little unnerving :) Worth it though! So push through!!!
