Rent a Professional Photographer To Capture Your Trip To Seoul
This past winter I received an email from a service called Usnaper, asking if I was interested in promoting their service. Usually I take some time to mull over the idea, but when I looked at Usnaper's site I knew this was a collaboration I needed to make happen!
Usnaper markets themselves as the AirBnb for photographers. You can browse their many artists (with skills in digital and film focused in portraiture, fantasy, weddings and more) and book them for a photoshoot while in Korea! They hope to be an international service soon.
I chose one of their film photographers Minsik Jung, and set up a meeting one snowy morning in Bukchon Village.
I fell completely in love with the entire process. Minsik was so fun to wander around the neighborhood with, and he didn't make it seem awkward at all - which is amazing because I'm rarely posing for photos!
He captured small details that really made me remember the day perfectly, and I can honestly say these are some of my favorite photos ever taken of me. I've lived in Seoul for almost 5 years, but I never really got in front of the camera and captured myself here. I'm always vlogging or shooting behind the camera!
I was so happy to have these memories of me in the city I call home.
If you're interested in learning more about the service, you can browse Usnaper here. One great thing is that they let the photographers set their own prices. Seeing as how photographers are notoriously underpaid, its great to see them have control over their services.
