Midnight in Seoul: Seoul's Best Cereal Cafe

You read that right, there is a cereal cafe in Seoul!

A newly opened cafe near Apgujeong named Midnight in Seoul is whipping up some seriously delicious concoctions, with the help of a little cereal and a lot of sugar.

While you are encouraged to create your own mixture of toppings, milks, and cereals, I got overwhelmed and went with a set item that had all the goodies picked out for me.

Meet, the Banana Bomb:

Cocoa Puffs, Reeses Puffs, fresh banana, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and crumbled bits of chocolate chip cookies. I went with soy milk but if you're really hell-bent on self destruction you could choose chocolate milk too.

I sat out in the sunlight, but there is a small room lit with a giant neon pink "Shit Happens" sign that makes you forget what time it is. This is a great place to hide out and pretend you're a kid sneaking cereal from the kitchen at night.  Not to mention the Pop Tarts, Twinkies, and other treats they had behind the counter.

The cafe is open 8am until midnight every single day, and from midnight to 2am they are a bar that serves dinosaur chicken nuggets.  Basically, this cafe owner has great taste and you should totally go.
